I Wanna Rock The Boat But I Wanna Rock You First

In which our hero does english essay-style AIM analysis

On AIM-speak and Facebook wall-speak, some people say "haha" at the beginning of a sentence and some after. What's funny is: you can usually predict where people tend to put it by looking at how they actually talk. People who put "haha" at the beginning tend to be higher self-censors, thinking of something to say, deciding whether they think it's funny, then saying it. Whereas people who put their "haha"s at the end are the more laid-back ones who say whatever they feel like and crack themselves up.

I don't really know if this explanation is right, but the fact it's explaining is actually pretty striking when you're looking for it.

Tonight at the high school open mic thing I'm going to play guitar and sing for the first time. I don't fully trust my voice yet, but it's going to be a blast even if I suck.

or you could say haha at the beginning of the sentence because you crack yourself up, since you are really that hilarious. and then you talk, because you need to explain what was so funny to whoever you were talking to.
